Quorum is a small, focused team building developer tools for the AI coding era. Our first product is Quorum Terminal — a workspace for orchestrating multiple AI coding agents at once.
Why Quorum exists
For 18 months our founder Sebastian shipped his own products with Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Gemini. The pattern was always the same: eight terminal tabs open at once, lost branches that nobody remembered creating, surprise invoices from runaway agents, and good prompts forgotten because there was nowhere to save them.
Existing terminals (iTerm, Warp) were optimized for shell sessions. Existing editors (VS Code, Cursor) were optimized for editing. Nothing was built for the workflow that actually happens when you let AI write the code and you orchestrate it.
So we built Quorum.
What we believe
- The terminal is the new IDE. When AI writes code, your hands are on the agent, not the file. The terminal is where the agent lives.
- Workspaces, not windows. A single Claude Code session is not a workspace. Eight of them with shared context, Git, prompts, and cost tracking — that is a workspace.
- Cost visibility is the new code review. Knowing what your AI is about to spend, in real time, prevents more bad decisions than any post-hoc review.
- Local-first by architecture. Closed-source software does not need to phone home. We built Network Inspector so you can verify ours does not.
- Honest beats viral. No vapor on the roadmap, no "AI breakthroughs" in marketing copy, no fake testimonials. Build the product, ship it, let it speak.
The team
Quorum is intentionally small. As of May 2026 we are a team of one full-time engineer (Sebastian) plus a rotating cast of contract collaborators on design, content, and security audits. We will hire when scale demands it, not before.

Quorum Terminal is the first product. The Quorum Suite plan:
